This demo shows a garden scene with a depth-of-field effect for the camera, trees and grass, water, lighting and shadows and an animated sykbox.
For the depth-of-field effect the depth is rendered to a texture, the final image is then blurred depending on the difference between the depth and the depth which is in focus.
The leafs of the trees and the grass are rendered with two sided lighting to simulate the light scattering in the leafs.
The water shader shows accurate reflections of the environment and refraction.
All objects in the scene are lighted and cast soft blurred shadows onto each other.
